I havent read to much more of "Growing Up Native American". I do plan on reading tonight though. I did learn a little about the Quileute Tribe on the field trip to the Seattle Museum. I always thought it was made up because the book Twighlight but they really are real. Their tribe is known as the "Whale Challengers" because back in the day their elders would take the challenge to hunt them. Whales in their language is called "kwalla". They are also known for telling the story of how the "bayak" (raven)placed the sun in the sky. I got my information from The Seattle Art Museum and the website http://www.quileutenation.org/
